First up, i don't usually like doing water colour....its messy to do...time consuming and not really an effect i like to much...but today...a break through...i love it!!!
I got the inspiration foe this mani from the amazingly talented Robin Moses. I wanted something a bit different and i saw this kind of design on her blog.....so i drew inspiration from her manicure and added my own spin on it.
I taped my nails up good and proper (only allowing my tips to be exposed to the water) after i applied my base colour (and allowed to thoroughly dry) then dipped them into the water. They dry uber quick with this method so i then removed the tape and added my swirls further up my nails...then i added a very fine glitter to my tip area and added little blue gems randomly.
For this mani i used China Glaze Manhunt, Aquadelic, Icicle and Picture Polish Cosmos (oh and the fine glitter is China Glaze Fairy Dust) I hope you guys like this manicure as much as i do....check out the other lovelies taking part and see you day 16! xxx
It really looks great!!!! Love it so much. Kisses.
