31 day challenge day 7...skittle nails

So i promised i was going to give you all a good post today...and i think i have done you proud today, in fact i am proud as punch with these nails, they turned out much better than i thought...all my idea and all freehand!

I have had uber amounts of fun with this design...its bright and cheerful...just what us UK nailists need!! The colours i used were no room for the blues, red lights...where?, need sunglasses? in my back pocket.....all by OPI and the green was spring green by Barry M. The white i used was acylic paint by folk art called titanium white. The only tools i used for this was my small paint brush and the top coat was seche vite.

Now i like to use these challenges to push myself as far as i can on any given day.  What seems like forever ago when i started this blog i did some fanta logos on my nails but they were just so hidiola i took them off  and put it down as experience that i should never try anything as complex as that.....polkas and stripes it would be.  But i feel i have come along in my skills since September and i want to prove to myself i can do it....so skittle nails i took quite literally and have opted for skittle logo nails...so i can stretch myself and see how far i have come in a short space and to be a little different.
