Hare Polish Hooky At The Hamlet

Hello loves, how are you all today? I love me a little Sunday action...and with action I mean swatching (dirty dirty minds! lol) Today I am going to show you the most hilariously named polishes, Hooky At The Hamlet by Hare Polish.
This polish is one I wanted for a while but passed the first stock up, then it sold right out...which made me want it even more (typical!).  A great friend of  mine Patty from Once Bitten Nails had a little whisper to me saying Llarowe had added inventory.....then it was mine (evil laugh!)
So HATH is a stunningly unique bright sea green jelly.  There is a beautiful sky blue shimmer to this polish that cant be picked up by my little camera but trust me it is there, along with various sized white matte glitters.
Formula was a tad thick, but workable.  I wish I would have layered this over a similar base colour as after 3 coats it still wasn't as opaque as I would have liked.  The glitters dispersed lovely on the first coat but tended to drag towards the end of the nail on the second coat.  No biggie, I just went over and dabbed a little where needed.
I do really love this polish, it is unique and super on trend as greens are everywhere right now. Its a shame I am finding that a lot of my Hares require some sort of 'work' to apply them, however they are still a brand that I get seriously excited about when I see a new release!

Light it up blue..take 2 tatoo inspired

Today as you all may know by now is National Autism Awareness day and everything has turned blue for the occasion.  This is a great thing for me as I love  blue...and I love me a good cause.

Myself and my dearest friends from my beloved polish group on facebook are dedicating our manicures to this fab cause..of course they should be blue.

Mission accomplished with this stunning mixed up reverse gradient mani I did.  I decided after yesterdays jigsaw nails that I was going to opt for a different flavour...I do believe I have delivered with my tattoo inspired accent nail.

I happen to love these very much, I love the matte effect I did with the glitter.....

Autism is such a complex thing, so I am linking you to a site which has wonderful information on it....find it hereI hope you guys are supporting this wonderful cause and lighting your nails up blue xxxx

Hare Polish Party Palace

Hello my lovely lovely readers, I am here today on this cold Easter weekend with another AWESOME AWESOME polish for your viewing pleasure.  I am showing you Party Palace from the amazing Hare Polish.

For goodness sake Hare camp are churning out some true beauties in this recent collections of jellies and top coats.

Party Palace really is like a party has set up show on my nails, I REALLY love this polish!!

PP is a super bright.  It almost has neon qualities to it, but it isn't quite, it is bright but very wearable.  Hare described it as bright fuchsia but I think it leans more between purple to be honest with fuchsia undertones....either way t is a really cool colour  for the upcoming (coughs and splutters at the mention) summer.  I also love that this will be wearable when winter roll around again (quicker than most if you live here in the UK!).

This polish is packed with white square, and orange hex glitters and a beautiful blue shimmer...I believe you can see the shimmer in my pics...if you cant trust me its there.  I love the orange hex glitters very much, although against this super bright colour they appear more red to me...not that this is a bad thing...I think the colours look amazing together!!

So its no surprise I adored this one...so much so that after the disappointment of not getting any nerds yesterday from ninja polish I got my bad self onto the internet and bagged me Rococo Graneur! now I just need Hooky at the hamlet and I will be happy!

Hare Polish Teen Queen

Hello there my angels.  Happy good Friday to everyone!  I am here today with an AWESOME polish for you guys in the form of Hare Polish Teen Queen.  Oh my lord this is beautiful!!

Excuse the spamathon of pictures, they are just to delicious not to show you guys!!

Teen Queen is such an awesome fun polish.  Packed pull of NEON BLUE glitter, that is enough for me to fall in love just for that but throw in baby pink hex and square glitters and a
ton of beautiful blue shimmer....I am in LOVE!  This is set in a clear base so it is perfecto for layering!

check the shimmer...simply stunning!

I chose to layer this over a pink after seeing it done this way on Llarowes website pic.  Usually I wouldn't have put a pink under this but OMG I love it so much I just cant stop staring at my nails....they look like candy!  The polish i layered it with is Models own Pastel Pink and I used 2 coats of the teen queen.  Formula was amazing..no problems at all.

I also just have to say a quick word about the new style labels hare have done.  I LOVE them...I am huge hare polish fan so they can do no wrong in my eyes!

Hare Polish A Positive

I post this manicure in honour of our beautiful Leah ann Llarowes late mum, who passed 1 year ago today.  Pink was her favourite colour so this is for you my dear, god bless xxxxxx

What a crappy day here in the UK, its cold, raining and windy...and to top it off my little munchkin Lucy has been poorly, so its a day off school for her.  So to combat my boredom i thought i would show you a pretty, to make us all feel somewhat nicer.

Here i present to you Hare Polish, A positive.  I have been lusting after this one forever to, the same as Bisbee and Pegasus...I'm getting used to this nimble finger lark when sets are released...bam, i was on it like a car bonnet an nabbed them!!

A positive is a gorgeous raspberry colour jelly polish with an insane amount of silver different sized hex glitters.  I friggin adore this like you wouldn't believe.

As Bisbees sister polish from the same collection, the formula is as  i expected it to be, thick!  this was no surprise to me as Hare Polish seems to be going through a 'thick phase.'  The glitters didn't misbehave as much as they did in Bisbee which was a nice surprise as i had resigned myself that they were going to be the same...hmm i wonder what Pegasus will be like..note to Mimi..try this one soon (too many polish and not enough fingers!)

Overall i loved this...a winner for me.  The colour was pretty as pretty can be...very 'Hare' formula could be better...but nothing a touch of thinner cant help.  A Positive is an amazing polish.....its still available on Llarowe so snap it right up!

Hare Polish Bisbee

Hi my lovelies.  So, today is a pretty crappy day here in the UK, it is gale force winds outside and has been dark sense 2pm here...which made me worry about being able to photograph Bisbee for you...until i bought out my light box...i annoyed with myself for not using this as much as i should because the pictures turned out wicked!

So today as i say, i have Bisbee for you.  I'm sure any nail enthusiast knows how hard this polish is to come by....gold dust it is, and i was super super excited to snag one when they were restocked, and today it turned up.

Now i always promised to be honest so here goes.  I LOVE it...and hate it at the same time.  I adore the colour, it is amazing and i for sure don't own a dupe for this, i liked the fact the colour built up nicely.  I had it pretty opaque in 3 coats...although i still have a slight VNL...but i just couldn't face another coat.  I also loved the mix of glitters used, they really compliment the polish well...it is beautiful and very very interesting to look at and the more i look at it the more i love it.....but.....

I have to say the glitters were a complete pain in the ass to control on this one.  They just didn't lay as flush to the nail as i like, and after 3 good coats i just didn't feel i could apply anymore for fear it would look far to thick on the nail.  When the polish was dry(ish) i was still lightly patting the sticky out glitters down.  I could imagine this would be a real challenge for a newbie to apply, thankfully i have the experience and tools to make this work.

After i applied 2 coats of my trusty seche vite it made a world of difference to the overall look and i fell in love head first, as you can see it really is stunning.  I'm not saying the issue i had is true of all of the bottles...i may have just got a duff one...but i will soon find out as when Llarowe restocked the other day i got another bottle for reserves as you can never usually get it easily. I love Hare polish, and will continue to love her polishes and for all the effort to apply this, i adore it enough for it all to be worth it!

Hare polish rusty hearts 2012

Tonight i am on it like  car bonnet...I'm busy doing my back log of pictures to show you.  I have been so busy with my nail art recently i am getting swamped with unused swatches!  So tonight one of my favourite indie brands Hare Polish are restocking on etsy, so in celebration i decided to show you rusty hearts from the antiquities collection.

Now i have a confession...Mimi is ashamed.  With all of the anticipation of the illuminated life collection this set took a back seat for me.  I thought to myself 'yep its very pretty' but i wouldn't have gone mad for it.  So when Llarowe was doing the launch of the whole lot this wasn't on the top of my list....but the whole lot of the illuminated life sold out within minutes and i didn't get to snag it straight away....so i had a look to see what was left and this was it...so i bought it without much glee if I'm honest as i wanted the IL collection so bad.

I did manage to snag the illuminated life collection and i have reviewed them here....this one arrived and i put it on and WOW!!!!  now i know i am pretty enthusiastic most of the time on polishes, but trust me when i say this colour is friggin stunning.

It was a complete suprise  because i didn't expect to be blown away by it like i was, but in reality i love it much more than electric flame and bury the hatchetfish.....for one the formula was beautiful, it applied deliciously smoothly.  Rusty hearts is such a cool name as well because it is the colour of rust....a real copper red jelly with lots of really complimentary gold shimmer.  It is a no brainer copper and gold are going to go well together but OMG this really is something else.  The rusty red colour really suited my skin tone so this is just love for me.

So i know this has been a bit of a ramble and i am sorry but when Hare restocks tonight bear in mind this review and snap this baby up....i loved it that much i bought the sister polish in this collection Ancient Affairs which i am yet to receive.

Hare polish illuminated life collection

Hello polish lovlies, hope this day finds you well.  I have for you today Hare polish illuminated fall collection.  Ever since i saw these babies on Hares facebook page i knew they were  going to be mine and as soon as they were released on Llarowes website i was on it like a car bonnet....only to fail at the first hurdle, they sold out in minutes!!  So me being the trooper i am i stayed awake until 2 am and bagged myself the entire collection!  I have waited patiently and when the dropped through my letterbox yesterday i swear to god i was squealing with delight...oooohing and ahhhhing at the beautifulness of them all.

I have been chomping at the bit to swatch these...yes i know its only a day but thats like 20 polish years isn't it?? So story over, lets get down to business.  Ohhhh.....firstly let me tell you i am a HUGE Hare polish fan, i have acquired THE most stunning polishes from previous hare collections and as you may have guessed i was beyond excited to get these, so i am dying to tell you these were all faultless like every other hare i have.  Sadly i cant do that.  I will start with my Nemesis of this collection.

Electric flame..ahhhh i could cry at this because the colour is STUNNING...the glitter in this is STUNNING....everything about it screams beautifulness in the bottle.  For me this polish had one of the most difficult applications i have had for a while.  It was really thick and very streaky and left my nails looking quite bumpy.  Now i am going to try this again with a touch of thinner in it so i will report back when i have tried it...i would also wear a base colour with this as even with 3 thick coats it wasn't opaque enough.  As i said the colour and glitter were awesome, in the flesh the colour of this is a light coral peach colour with cool purple and blue fine glass flecks.  This had all the makings to be a super polish, it is pretty and feminine and it beaks my heart not to give this a better review.

Now on to bury the hatchetfish.  This is the one that caught my eye straight away...i love a brown polish and i love glitter so we were onto a winner straight away.  This one was  better application although another that is in definite need of some thinner as again it was very thick.  Aside from the thickness this is a stunning polish.   It is a light brown jelly base packed with blue glass flecks.  This is super super stunning and a sure winner if you like a good brown like me!  I layered this over Glitter gal suede.

Awwww now we have  medusa luminosa.  Now i have stacks of purple and for that reason i wasn't as enthusiastic about this one...not because i didn't see the stunning beauty of it even on the screen because i did, its just simply because i thought i would have one similar.  Nope i don't, and let me tell you after not really being blown away by the previous two due to the application issues this was the saver....Hare quality had indeed been restored...oh my!!!  It is a stunner....this made me smile again indeed.  Filled with pink, blue and gold glass flecks packed into a super bright and pretty purple base this gave me renewed hope for the collection!!  I adore it.  application was brilliant, just the right consistency.  I think any purple fan should own this one, take it from me you will need it in your collection!

now here we have atolla.  Gasp at the beauty of this one...another that restores my faith...and as a pink polish lover i definitely don't own one like this! This is one of the prettiest pinks i own and really does glow  It is a girly fuchsia colour, again like the others it is packed with blue glass flecks which truely do illuminate the whole look of this.  Once again application was beautiful on this.  I cant say how much i loved this polish...once again any pink polish fan should own this as a matter of urgency as it really is a stack more prettier in the flesh....and i can't believe this is still in stock on Llarowe??! after the rest sold out so spectacularly this one was the winner of  the collection for me!

So now you guys have it, the whole collection has been done for your viewing pleasure...what do you think?? i would be really interested to know if any of you guys have this collection and if you had any application issues....especially with electric flame.  I wish i could have given this whole collection a whole 5 stars, electric flame really disheartened me......bury the hatchetfish almost had me back but the medusa luminosa and atolla were without doubt the stand out of the collection and despite my disappointment with electric flame i am still a huge hare fan!
