Hello my lovelies, how are we all doing today?? I have decided to drop by and share with you possibly one of the prettiest colour combos I have done recently...one that screams summer to me! (god knows we need it here in the UK)
I have used Nails Inc Wellington Square as the base colour. This is a STUNNING light peach colour, it is so soft and lovely but strangely it has a kind of neon feel about it, without it being neon...if that makes sense?! It is bright and extremely beautiful. I used 2 coats which applied great. The first coat goes a little on the streaky side but the 2nd evened it right out. Nails Inc is always a winner for me so formula was excellent.
I always like to have a play about with what I have in my stash so I decided to add a coat of L'Oreal Diamon Caret, which by the way Is beautiful. It gave this a lovely soft silvery white sheen. Then I did a reverse gradient with L'Oreal Gold Lurex.
I think you will agree this is a stunning combination! I love it so much I have had this on for 3 days!!
Blimey day 13....this bad boy is going quickly!! So today's prompt is 'cheer yourself up' mani...crikey that conjures up all kinds of images in my head. The first thought i had when i saw this prompt was Mexico....yup Mexico cheers me right up...we have been there 2 years straight on our holiday and last week we booked and part paid for our holiday to playacar for August...yay!...a world away from our cloudy skies here in the UK! Anyways i attempted to do a sunset mani but i didn't like how they turned out.
So off that come and i got to thinking what makes me happy. New polish makes me happy so i used my new new one i bought today by nails inc wellington square (omg this is a special polish...perfect for the summer) and new acrylic paint makes me happy....especially the folk art ones i have managed to find (very excited as i know the lovely Robin Moses uses that brand) so i used my new acrylic paints to do different kinds of love hearts over my nails.
My intention was to write different things that cheer me up in the hearts (such as Lucy, Mark, Harry, Mum and Zoe ) but i ended up totally loving the hears as they were.
I will without a doubt be attempting the Beachy sunset again...hopefully with more success. In the mean time i hope you chikkas have a great day and do check out the other lovelies who have one great manis!
