I thought I would show you a bit of an accident manicure I did. I went to the professional beauty show in London last weekend and wanted to jazz my nails up a bit.
Well this wasn't exactly the thing I wanted to do at all but the more I played the more annoyed I was getting so I decided to just abandon ship and go to bed.
As it turned out they wernt to bad, some people at the show even thought they were nail wraps so I guess they were OK. This isn't a design I would do again on myself though, its a bit 'out there' for me to wear as a whole manicure lol. I used for this manicure IBD Gel Polish in Fancy fingers and for the art I used OPI Eurso Euro and the black was just a regular nail art pen!

Pure 18k white gold and silver top coat Mariah Carey over Chanel Azure
Hey my lovelies! So here I am feeling a little bored so I thought I would swatch the geourgous Pure by Mariah Carey...her creation with OPI brings you a very special topcoat.....one that infuses real 18k gold and silver in a beautiful leaf effect.
Those that remember the awesome Skyfall film last year will know OPI released a whole host of polishes relating to Bond movies, and came up with the man with a golden gun....another gold topcoat. That release saw the polish community go mad, I am not much of gold lover but the polish addict in me HAD to own it, just because. This one is along the same lines....I wouldn't wear it all of the time but I am glad I own it just because, A, I LOVE Mariah and B,....its real gold baby!!!
Now the business side of things. Man its expensive! These are selling at almost £30 (plus VAT) in Sallys....that's one pricey polish, and it tells you something about my obsession that I am willing to pay that just because I feel I need it in my collection! I decided to layer this over Chanel Azure. Whilst I love the combination of the 2 together...or should I say, the idea of the 2 together...I don't know if they complimented each other in the best light.
Azure is a polish worthy of awards on its own basis, it is stunning and one of my fave polishes this year..it is bright, beautiful and everything Mimi loves. Check out my post on it here . With this topcoat on I felt this dulled azure. It wasn't the leaves...they looked so pretty and very Christmassy together....I think it was the actually base colour of the topcoat that did it no favours.
In certain lights it added a yellowish tinge to the polish....hmmmm I don't know if it is just me seeing things or the lighting, I'm not sure. I will be defo swatching a few more colours to see if it does indeed have a yellowish base to it instead of clear, as I believed it would be.
That said, I do love it. Can I see a clear difference in the silver and gold flakes? not really to be honest....I properly could if I looked really hard but on face value the flakes arnt distinctly different immediately.
Dry time was excellent and dried very very smooth. It applied beautifully and evenly..so top marks there. So I'm guessing people will either be falling over to have this or pass because the price is so high. I am glad I own it and I'm looking forward to using it nearer to Christmas as I think it is perfect for the holiday season.

Hey guys! Well here I am! Things have been so hectic here at the moment hence why I haven't been posting as often....I am vowing to try and post more, with some great posts lined up, so stay tuned!
Today I am showing you my daughters neon clash creation. This wasn't what she had originally wanted but I just let this one run and it turned out really quite cute and quirky!
I sponged the different Models Own Neons over Opi Alpine Snow and topped it off with some Seche Vite.
Awwwww I do love my girlie so much, don't she take an awesome picture?! As i say, stay tuned because i have some Hare Polish, Enchanted Polish, The new Nails Inc Beaded polish, Nails Inc green leather and some Emily De Molly coming up!

Disney Challenge...Mulan....hmmm
Argggh why oh why cant every day be the same...art wise i mean? yesterdays Gothic snow white was so cool because it came together so well, i LOVED doing that. Today, i decided to opt for mulan in a traditional sense because to be honest i ha vent seen the film so i don't know the character very well at all.
From the pics i found on the Internet my mulan doesn't look Chinese enough for my liking, super damn!
I decided to do some newspaper nails to, using Chinese newspaper, that looked kinda cool and i liked that a lot....
So there we have it...a not Chinese looking enough Mulan, check out the other ladies taking part!

Swatch review Models Own Splash Collection
Hello my lovelies! I hope this Saturday finds you well and happy! I have been itching to get my hands on the new Models Own Splash Collection and yesterday whilst at Bluewater Shopping Centre i finally had the chance to get them, and they are on offer at the minute 3 4 2, so i got the whole collection for £20...plus a cheeky scented polish thrown in for good measure!
now i will warn, this is a bit of a pic fest post as i thought i would show you guys the whole collection. For those who wanted to know, these are indeed flakies...there was a little confusion as to weather these were glitters or flakies...well hope that helps. So here we go..i will try and keep my waffling to a minimum!
First up is Pink Paradise. This is a loaded polish filled with chunky flakies that flash purple, and corally pink. I used 1 coat over Enchanted Disco Barbie.
Golden Shore. As with all of these polishes they contain the same kind of rough jagged shards of glitter. The flakies in these are indeed golden. I used 1 coat over OPI In my back pocket.
Aqua Splash. Again, the same shards of flakies is what makes this polish up. The flakies in this flash silver, golden and aqua. I used 1 coat over Nails Inc Kensington Park Road.
Red Sea. Unlike the others in this collection the base of this is much more coloured. The flakies in this flash red and purple. I used 1 coat over Essie Snap Happy.
Mermaid Tears. The flakies in this one were definately larger cut than the rest of the collection...still in keeping with the rough jagged look, the flakies flash aqua. I used 1 coat over Models Own Pukka Purple.
For fun i decided to show you these layered over a black to show you the different dimension they take on under different colours.
My sum up on these are a hard one really. I loved the idea of a whole collection devoted to flakies, we have oodles of glitters and such on the high street but not that many flakies so i give M.O credit for coming up with these. I like them because they are very pretty and very versatile. The negatives i find with these are the base colours. In the bottle they look quite deceiving, i knew they were going to be used for layering butttt i didn't expect the colour to be so sheer they are almost clear (with the exception of red sea) M.O say these can be worn alone, i kinda disagree, especially if like myself and so many other nail polish wearers my nails arn't a super pretty colour underneath. I kind of feel although these sure are pretty in the bottles the flakies arnt unique enough to warrant owning the whole set. Also the glitter had a tendency to stick out on the nail even after 1 coat of seche vite.
My picks of this collection is definitely red sea, aqua splash and mermaids tears. Application on all of these were ok, the shards did tend to drag towards the end of the nail and i did have to go back in a dab a little. Dry time was OK.
So there you have it, i hope you guys enjoyed my review xxxx

Disney Lady And The Tramp plus my baby!
Welllll here i am again...2 posts in one day, wooop!! So today i bring to you my Lady And The Tramp nails.
Ohhh this movie is so so special to me....firstly its one that features dogs...that alone is going to be a winner BUT it features a very special breed of dog that makes my heart melt a little...Ok, it melts a lot! That breed is of course a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
I adore this breed so much so i own one! I wanted one like this so i searched high a low for a ruby one, and i found my perfect, soulful eyed little fluff ball at 8 weeks old. The rest is history, Harry is my baby and i couldn't love him more if i tried!...check him out!!
So i did the lady and the tramp sharing the meatballs together....adorable! I would like to thank The Polish Art Addiction for her fab tutorial on this...i did add my own spin on it but i did follow some of her tutorial, she is awesome!
As always i hope you like this, next up in this challenge are the princesses!

Opi Tiffany Case plus Picture Polish Atomic
Hey my angels, I am back...yep I have been a little lazy with my manicures this week....for some reason my get up and go seems to have get up and gone...but I am going to jump back on board by showing you this beauty before going off and doing some Lady and the tramp nail art.
So I have Tiffany Case, the blue counterpart of the epic Bond Girls liquid sands. I am beyond excited about these polishes, FINALLY I have been able to lay my grubby mitts on 3 of these babies....all of the collection will be shown on here VERY soon!
Tiffany Case is a beautiful aqua blue with beautiful silver glitters. It applies smoothly but dries down to a matte sand effect finish. It is super opaque, 2 coats and you are done.
I decided to mix it up and use Atomic by Picture Polish to create some cool lines. I love these two together. Stay tuned for a full review of the bond girls collection, they are ahhhmazing!
