Pretty and Polished Animagi

Hello my lovelies!! I am here tonight with a quick post for you.  I needed to show you an awesome polish by the equally awesome Pretty & Polished...here I present to you Animagi.....!!!

ooooooh look at the holo!!!

This is a beautiful beautiful thermal polish.  It magically changes between light purple to a dark vampy purple bordering black depending on your body temperature.

Oh my goodness I LOVE this polish, it is so damn cool its not even funny!!  I love it when my tips are the darker colour, it is nail art without none of the effort! 

i ran my hands under a hot tap and took this picture, hence the droplets of water!

If the awesome colour change isn't enough to draw you in, then the beautiful holo sparkle will get you.  With both the light purple and darker colour the holo is ever present, you can see it is a sparkler in any lighting.....WINNER!!!

Application was good.  It did apply rather thinly at first but it did build up coverage really nicely.  I used 4 thin coats for these shots.

Pretty and Polished Party Time! And Year One!

I have been itching to show you these polishes.  I bring you Pretty & Polished Party Time and Year One.  Chelsea released these polishes back in November to celebrate her first year bringing us beauties on Etsy and as soon as i saw them i knew i just had to own both of them, especially as there was only a tiny amount of these to be made, making them very sought after.....of course Mimi will own them!  A sincere congrats to her!

So first up i will show you, Year One.  This one only got to me this morning....and wow, it was worth the wait.  Year one is THE most beautiful  milky baby blue polish, when you really examine the polish it really is quite complex.  Y1 is made up with amazingly pretty green and turquoise small square glitters, purple large diamond glitters, silver hex glitters and micro blue glitters.  The glitters in this polish truly compliment the base colour, super well done to Chelsea for creating this stunner...you all know i love a blue!

Next up is Party Time!  Yep she should have a party...whilst wearing this.....OMG i ADORE it!!!  I got this a couple of weeks back and have been dying to try it, but i wanted to bring you these swatches together...again, this was worth the wait.  Party Time is a hot magenta pink jelly base  with large bright blue and a slightly darker blue and pink hex glitters and purple and magenta micro glitters.  I cannot tell you how stunning this is in the flesh, so girly and fun...i love it!!!

I used 3 coats for each of these polishes and both applied easily....dry time fantastic.  You can find P&P here on etsy or shopify or evn on facebook where you can keep up to date on offers and new releases!

Pretty and Polshed Concoction, Olgite and Sidereal

I am so excited to show you these polishes the lovely Chelsea sent for me to review...they are AHHHMAZING!!  Ohhhh i wish my pictures could do these as much justice as they deserve.  I always pledged i would be honest with my reviews...even if they had been sent kindly to me....i promise you they are every bit as special in the flesh!

First up we have concoction.....and what a special concoction this one is!  I think i may have died and gone to heaven with this one.  It is a glorious purple jelly with amazing flakes that flash from blue to purple and a light dusting of holographic particles.  This applied like a dream, and with an added coat of seche vite it sparkled like crazy.  This is such a special polish and deserves the full 5 stars for amazingness!

Now  move to Sidereal.  Holy cow...this is killing me....Sideral packs a punch in all the right places.  I get excited about polish a lot this is true...but this is something else...i will properly dream about this tonight.  Sidereal is a polish set in a charcoal jelly and it is absolutely packed with the most stunning blue micro flakes and shimmer.  The combination is an epic win for Chelsea...another five star award coming up.

Last but in no way least is Olgite.  This one i have to say is a surprise...in the bottle i wasn't as excited about it as the other two...even though i am a total blue fan.  On the nail...well it is something else...it is stunning!!  I adore the colour...a colour blue that is my ideal! Olgite is a really pretty medium blue...yes that's all great but what makes this extra special is the colour changing shimmer...purple and green....wow what a combination...and damn to my camera for being able to pick up the shimmer in all its glory...i promise its there and i promise it is something to behold in the flesh.

I used 3 coats for each of the polishes...application was excellent on all of them and dry time fab! I have a real soft spot for P&P polishes, i own quite a collection...and fully intend to own more....so if you are a P&P virgin head to Chelsea's etsy shop here or follow her on facebook here

pretty and polished, it gets better

Oh wow oh wow oh wow!!  I have a beautiful polish for you guys today, a real stunner! I was lucky enough to order this in a pre sale from Chelsea at p&p, it spoke to me as soon as i saw it and in the flesh...damn it screams to me!!

Apart from being genuinely my favourite green polish i own, the inspiration behind this polish is awesome.  It was created to help raise money for the it gets better project, which until now i had not heard about. This is what Chelsea had to say.....

"Right now we have another Charity cause we are working on. When you purchase a bottle of "It Gets Better" from our online shop, 50% of the profits will be going to the It Gets Better Project. The It Gets Better Project was created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach – if they can just get through their teen years. The It Gets Better Project wants to remind teenagers in the LGBT community that they are not alone — and it WILL get better.
I created this polish for all of the people I have lost to bullying. I understand not everyone agrees with my views on human rights and that is ok. I made this polish so that I could donate 50% of the profits to an organization that I appreciate.

What a fab idea, and with all of the bullying going on recently online in our community i absolutely support this myself.  It gets better is an amazing mint green creme polish, with beautiful delicate rainbow holographic hex glitters.  The polish applies like butter, the glitters were flat to the nail and evenly dispersed and dry time was great.  I can't say how stunning this is (even my sister had a sharp intake of breath when she saw it!)
