I Love Nail Polish Cygnus Loop (H)

Well well well I guess it is now the appropriate time when it isn't to early to wish you all a very merry Christmas!!  In my way of a present to you I am treating you to some nail porn pics of the STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING (did I mention this is STUNNING?!) I love nail polish Cygnus Loop (H)
these 3 pics taken in natural daylight

This is my first ever purchase of the brand, I love Nail Polish.  I have heard such great things about the polish and the service which is why I am annoyed with myself for leaving it until now to have any dealings.  Not only was the shipping super quick (im in the UK) the packaging was adorable!  I totally forgot to take pics but the paper used to wrap this was super cute!  Now onto the stuff that really matters...polish!!

Freeking AMAZING might come close!  dare I even say it, I love this polish more than my Enchanted Polish which is a hard beat! This is the holographic counterpart to the Chrome polish.  Not only is this a true chrome polish, I find it doesn't enhance every imperfection on the nail like so many chromes do.  It is a very forgiving polish which is a winner for me!  I also looooved how opaque this was, I actually could have used 1 coat but went for 2 just because I am programmed to do that!  I also used no top coat and look how friggin amazing it is without!!!

The colour is impossible to nail down to one stand alone colour..it shifts from purple, blue orange, yellow and even green in some lights!!!! and with the holographic sparkle to add the bling, it just adds that something more special to an already special polish.  In the sun this beauty is breathtaking, making driving extremely hazardous! lol.

I have to say this polish has really made me want every single one on the website....new years resolution?  mimi must own more I love nail polish polishes!  You can find this polish here at the website

Pretty and Polished Animagi

Hello my lovelies!! I am here tonight with a quick post for you.  I needed to show you an awesome polish by the equally awesome Pretty & Polished...here I present to you Animagi.....!!!
ooooooh look at the holo!!!

This is a beautiful beautiful thermal polish.  It magically changes between light purple to a dark vampy purple bordering black depending on your body temperature.

Oh my goodness I LOVE this polish, it is so damn cool its not even funny!!  I love it when my tips are the darker colour, it is nail art without none of the effort!
i ran my hands under a hot tap and took this picture, hence the droplets of water!

If the awesome colour change isn't enough to draw you in, then the beautiful holo sparkle will get you.  With both the light purple and darker colour the holo is ever present, you can see it is a sparkler in any lighting.....WINNER!!!

Application was good.  It did apply rather thinly at first but it did build up coverage really nicely.  I used 4 thin coats for these shots.

I am now in desperate need of some more of these wicked thermal polishes, that I WILL own!  Find P&P here or find them at good old etsy

Nails inc Trafalgar Crecent Galaxy Polish

Hey guys!!  A way to break myself back into this blogging lark is to bring you some stunning polishes....and I bring it in the form of Nails Inc Trafalgar Crescent...love love love this polish!!

Whilst I was having a look at the nails inc polishes whilst at Bluewater recently I spotted the new galaxy collection.  Being somewhat detached from what is new and upcoming at the moment I was excited when I saw these babies as they scream PARTY!  of course I had to have at least 2 of them on the spot....I opted for this one and Westminster Bridge Road, which I will show you later.

Now then, this is no ordinary silver bling tastic polish...nope!  It is so much more complex a polish that makes me happy I opted for this one.  It takes on white tones in certain lights, blueish in others and full on silver bling!  What makes this polish the most interesting though is the really strong iridescent shimmer...it makes the base colour of this polish appear almost ultra violet to me!

As for the bling what is in there? well I see a whole array of coloured goodness to make your nails look like disco balls!  There is small hex and larger hex glitters in there and I see soft rainbow colours coming through to.  Formula wise, I will say this is a little thick, I would recommend layering this so you wont have to have as many layers of polish bulking up the nail.  It dried in OK time to.  1 coat of seche vite and my nails were smooth which was good.  Overall I love this polish..i think it is a very unique silver making it a welcome addition to my 700+ collection lol!

Enchanted Polish Future Reflections

Ahhhh guys I have missed you all!! Life keeps getting in the way of my blogging but I am back!!!  I am going to show you a steller polish today....one that is guaranteed to make you sigh at the sheer prettiness of it...all this in the form of Enchanted Polish Future Reflections.

enchanted polish future reflections holographic

For goodness sake, EP really can do no wrong can they?? Enchanted really holds a special place in my heart because Disco Barbie was the very first indie polish I owned, from there my friends, my love affair has grown...along with the popularity of EP, crikey its hard to snag one these days!

So Future Reflections is part of The Time To Pretend Collection and wow its something else in person!  It is highly holographic in the right light, blinding in direct sunlight.  This is totally not like anything I own, its very chrome effect, mixed with the holo...winner!

In certain lights this polish takes on real purple/pinky tones, move of the hand and I see blues and even copper!!  It is just to interesting for words really, I feel like I have changed my polish in different lighting!

Application and dry time were faultless as you would expect, I used 3 coats for these shots.  I didn't use a top coat for this polish as I have had issues with it dulling the holo in previous Enchanteds.....BUT I can say wear was excellent on this, I wore this for 3 days with NO chipping and hardly any tip wear! Well done Enchanted, another  excellent addition to the family!

Cirque Fascination Street

Boy oh boy i am excited to show you my swatches of this polish today Fascination Street  is a complete stunner..so much so i cant bear to take it off!!!  I originally saw this swatched by the super lovely and talented Jo at Northern Nails and i knew i HAD to have this one...so i immediately got my bad ass over to the equally amazing Sally Magpies and bought it.

It looked amazing in Jo's swatches so i was soooooo excited to receive this one..it didn't disappoint in the flesh, this baby is a bottle of holo beautifulness...it took my breath away!

Made by the really up and coming Cirque this brand is a one to watch in 2013, i guarantee you if you haven't heard of them yet (where have you been?!) then you will do very soon.  I am seeing swatches pop up everywhere with a Cirque polish...and all of them have been amazing.

FS is described as a Vibrant Indigo Polish with a rainbow holographic finish.  Yup that's exactly how i would describe it to (phew).  It applies so smoothly to the nail, just effortlessly gliding on...it is super opaque to, 2 thin coats and you are good to go.  The way this applies reminds me of how it felt when i applied my first A England...i loved it...but i love Cirque more!  I can also vouch that applying TC doesn't spoil the holo effect as it did with some of my Enchanted Polishes.

So as you can guess i am super impressed with this polish, i absolutely know i NEED the whole collection of Cirque but it will take time as they arnt cheap...but the best things come to those who wait!  Thank you to he lovely Jo for introducing me to Fascination Street xxxxx

A quick post tonight beauties.  Here we are with day 2 of the 31 day challenge and the prompt is silver.  I am not a huge fan of metallic to be honest so i decided to funk this mani up with some abstract lines and some contrasting flowers on the ring and thumb finger.

My silver for today is the ahhhmazing Ludurana Aurora Boreal The holo is just amazing in this....so so strong, i just adore it.

Anyways see you tomorrow my lovelies...as always check out my fellow challengers! xxxx

Hanukkah Floam Ninja Polish

Happy new years eve eve beauties!!  As a pre new year treat i am bringing you Hanukkah Floam by Ninja Polish, FYI Hanukkah is also known as the festival of lights......damn Right this polish lives up to that name! I am sorry for the long post..but this polish deserves it!

I have been drooling over my laptop when i clocked this on Ninjas website, but it was always out of stock...which strangely makes me want it more!!  So i swooped in on the last restock and bagged me a bit of Hanukkah!!

i have blurred the pic just so you can see that multi holo goodness!!!

Man oh man....I'm a blue lover...as you may or may not know by now, and this ticks all of Mimi's boxes...pretty (HUGE tick)....sparkly (HUGE tick).....easy application (HUGE tick) in fact everything has a HUGE tick!  This polish will be right up there with my all time favourite blue polishes, its just to damn delicious! in fact i have to say the Ninjas i own (most recent being the strawberries n roses and Alexandrite...they are amazing to, so i see me and Ninja Polishes being best buddies from now on!)

I could ramble on and on about the loveliness of this, my camera just couldn't pick up all of the sparkle...it proper spazzed out at it, so see the sparkles??......treble that and you might be close in the flesh! This polish contains THE must beautiful blue matte glitters...very reminiscent of the floam family....but here is the clincher....beautiful multicoured holographic glitter to....you get the best of both wolds, and man, in the sun that holographic dazzles!  I layered this over Orly blue skies...perfecto!! If you haven't got Hanukkah yet rush over to Ninja Polish now! xxxx
