my cute square manicure...new spring 2013 nails inc colours

Hey my loves...I am back with more nails inc goodness for you!

This is a mani I did last week and I really wanted to show you guys because I LOVE this design with these colours.

I  used the new spring 2013 nails inc colours here.

the neon pink is called Primrose Hill
the mint green is called  Royal Botanical Gardens
the salmon pink is called Kensington Palace Gardens
the coffee colour is Belgravia Gardens
the pastel blue is called Chelsea Physic Garden
the orange is called Hampton Court Palace Gardens

I wanted to wear each and every colour at once so I thought this was the perfect way to do that!!

I also used nails inc holo topcoat electric lane..oh my gosh this is waaaay prettier than my damn camera could pick up....that is defo a must have topcoat for you ladies that enjoy a little extra bling!

my beautiful daughters tag day nails inc mani Botanical Gardens

Hello my angels...I am back.  I have been super busy with some awesome nail art for a Disney challenge coming up in April...but I have a gorgeous mani for you guys tonight.

My amazing daughter Lucy has a tag day at school tomorrow..so I jumped at the chance when she suggested to do some pastel polkas and cute flowers on her nails to match her jeans.

I am so lucky, she has the best nails  to work on.....I loved every minute of our girly time together this evening!

For the base colour I used Royal Botanical Gardens, from the new Spring 2013 colours.  OH MY GOSH this is beyond beautiful..i adore adore adore this colour so much...every time I look at It I fall in love all over again!  It is a stunning spearmint green, perfect formula as you would expect....opaque in 2 coats!!  nails inc have out done themselves with this one!

I then took to doing the delicate flowers and polkas with acrylic paint then topped it off with a coat of seche vite.  Perfection even if I do say so myself!

What do you guys think? xxxxx

my...whatever this is mani!

I actually don't know what to call tonights creation....I don't know if its a win or a lose mani.....I was given this idea by a group I belong to and this was my interpretation.

I think see this as  kind of entwined ribbons....or for some reason this reminds me of ballet?!...I know I am weird!

I used Opi my vampire is buff for the back ground and acrylic white paint for the ribbons. I'm not sure on this mani....if I wasn't as tired I might correct where I think it could use it.  Another one for me to recreate at a later date!

eeek my first client...neon nails!

Hello my angels happy Saturday to you!  Todays post I am so excited to share with you.  My resolution this year was to do some nail art on other people besides myself and my daughter.  I never really thought I was capable of doing it...I am a real self critic and it does my head in.

Then my lovely friend Lauren messaged me asking me to do them for her as she is attending a roller disco and wanted far out there neon nailage....so I thought I would bite the bullet and do them.

I was kinda nervous as she has itsy bitsy nails compared to mine and even my 12 year olds daughters nails are bigger than Laurens....but I needn't have worried..it all went good.

Now I have conquered my nervousness of doing them on someone else this has definitely gave me the oomph to go for it.....I love this so much.

This style really suited her, it matches her beautiful personality so well and I would like to thank her so much for being the perfect first client for me.  The only downside is the nattering we all did which slightly delayed her a bit lol!!  Hope you guys like!! xxxxx

Guest Post from my beautiful sister Zoe..NERD LACQUER CYANCE FRICTION!

Hey my angels, i am so excited to share with you a VERY special guest post by my one and only sister, Zoe.  She is just the best, i have been dying to get her on here for aaaages, not only has she got the most beautiful natural nails ever but boy she can do a beautiful paint job.  So without further ado here she is.

Now i am excited to do this guest post for 2 reasons. Firstly with this being my sisters blog and i feel honoured that i am doing this. By no means am i on par with mimi's capabilities with nail art, but i do like to paint my nails VERY often, and i am glad me and my gorgeous sister share the love of polish, and between us have a collection to die for! Secondly, mimi asked me to do this particular mani as she loves this polish and with the wonderful nerdlacquer's return, would be an apt post.

So i have Nerdlacquer Cyance Friction to show you.
I was actually hoping that this polish would be leaning more towards a blue than green, i dont own a terrific amount of green and its not a colour i love, BUT.....this colour is a stunner!! Its does veer more towards green but holy cow, do you see all that glitter??!! It has gold hex glitter, teal square glitter making it stand out from the green polish, and fine gold glitter that strangly look pinky in certain lighting, and hard to capture on camera!

This was opaque in 2 coats, but i used 3 just to make sure i had no vnl! The application was amazing and the glitters lay flat with no curling. Had to shift some of the gold hex around to ensure even coverage but that was no biggie. Dry time with REALLY fast. I also put 2 coats of seche vite for extra shine! I can't wait to own more, i may do another guest post with Nerds 'Warrior Ethos' in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled.
