Hey guys! how are we all today? So tonight I had a little play around with my paints as I needed something to occupy my mind....my little girl (well she is 12 now and taller than me!) is having her first proper sleep over tonight...naturally I'm a little at odds as to what to do.....so my nails took a pounding!
I saw some really cool wave nails over at confessions of a polishaholic so I decided I must give them a try....here we have it!
I love these, it reminds me I am off on my own holidays in 13 weeks (I'm not counting lol) I simply cant wait to feel the Mexican sun and surf, so these are right up my alley!
I am 2 challenges behind with the Disney we are doing, I will try my best to catch up soon! stay safe my angels xxxxx
Today as you all may know by now is National Autism Awareness day and everything has turned blue for the occasion. This is a great thing for me as I love blue...and I love me a good cause.
Myself and my dearest friends from my beloved polish group on facebook are dedicating our manicures to this fab cause..of course they should be blue.
Mission accomplished with this stunning mixed up reverse gradient mani I did. I decided after yesterdays jigsaw nails that I was going to opt for a different flavour...I do believe I have delivered with my tattoo inspired accent nail.
I happen to love these very much, I love the matte effect I did with the glitter.....
Autism is such a complex thing, so I am linking you to a site which has wonderful information on it....find it here. I hope you guys are supporting this wonderful cause and lighting your nails up blue xxxx
Hello my lovelies. I am bringing you a very special manicure today in support of Autism Awareness. The 2nd of April brings every nationality together, young, old, boy or girl to raise awareness to Autism which effects approx. 600,000 children and adults in the UK alone.
I have never been directly affected by autism in my family but know of people who have and know of their struggle to be heard and diagnosed. Coping is often a extremely stressful for both the parents and the child.
So the blogging community and our very own polish group on facebook are coming together and proudly wearing blue in our manicures. This is the very least us girls can do to help...so join in and stick on a blue! I decided on doing the autism ribbon and jigsaw piece mani. And my choice of blues varied from dark blues to lights, i also used Girly Bits Arctic sunrise on my thumb. I wrote the word fly beside the ribbon as I think all of our children should aspire to fly in one way or another.

Yay day 19 and today is 'your favourite polish'. Now come on guys, asking what your favourite polish is, is like asking what your favourite song is.....impossible to decide!!
So i went back to when i fell in love with indie polishes, and my first love was Girly Bits polish, and i believe daddy's little girl was my first. I spied this one and instantly fell in love with it, and i shared the love with my sister who also snapped up a bottle, i remember us taking out kids swimming and sitting on the sidelines admiring this polish!
I am ashamed i have only wore this once so its my pleasure to crack it open again and gaze at its splendour! Girly bits remains one of my all time favourite indie brands...not one of Pams creations i haven't fallen for which is why i own so many! And with cracking this bad boy open i have fallen in love all over again...Pam Pam Pam i love ya!
DLG is a beautiful mix of sky blue, brighter blue, fuchsia and purple glitters in a tinted blue base. I chose to layer this over Barry M Blackberry. Perfection, even if i do say so myself! This is 2 coats. You can buy Pams wonderful creations here at her Big Cartel site or here at Llarowe. xxxxx
