opi pedal faster suzi caviar nails

Hi there lovely people.  I thought i would show you my Opi Pedal faster suzi, with my ring finger done with 'caviar' beads. I have seen the amazing caviar nails done with Ciate.  This can work out quite expensive tbh, a set costs i believe around £18.  You can however do you own version with tiny micro beads.

I purchased Opi Pedal faster suzi from Capital hair and beauty, oh my gosh i did adore this colour!  It is from the Holland collection.  As you can see it is the pinnacle of girlyness everything that is good and lovely has been wrapped up in this bottle...beautiful baby pink colour with a lovely silver white shimmer..giving it a perfect interesting dimension.  This is super super flattering, and being an Opi brand you know you cant really go wrong!

So for this look i popped my chosen colours of micro beads into a container and mixed them up, i painted my nails (dahh!) and while they were still wet i dipped my finger into the beads and gently tapped the excess of.  You will get the off straggler that likes to be out of place so i gently tapped it into place with an orange wood stick.  Once i got the desired amount into the right place i 'sealed' this with a couple of coats of seche vite.  This was enough for the beads to stay put...some might prefer to use some gel top coat for extra support but for me i only used a regular t/c because i change polish so often..haha.

I absolutely love the way this turned out and recieved many compliments..its a cheap way of doing the caviar nails but sooo effective.  Hope you guys have enjoyed it xxx

girly bits jelly shoes ....yeah baby!

Ahhh girly bits girly bits girly bits, this is fast becoming my fave indie brand, they are all just so beautiful, they haven't let me down and constantly live up to my high expectations.  So when i saw that the  new slapdash collection was being released to say i was excited was an understatement!!  3 polishes caught my eye immediately and i just knew i had to own them, they were the adorable names jelly bean shoes, Arctic sunrise and c u blue.  When Llarowe put them up on sight i was like a whippet snagging all 3....and I'm still wanting the others!

Anyhow back to business, jelly bean shoes, yes it lives up to its name perfectly, making me think of the cutest shoes back in the 80's that you wore to the beach, i actually remember my beautiful sister losing her beloved jelly bean shoe in the water at the beach one day :(  so this polish is the cutest pink ever, it is a 'hot pink' but its not overly neon making it striking enough to wear everyday but not stupid bright like a glow stick! It has beautiful pink and purple duo chrome shimmer, that really comes alive in the sunlight.  I loved this pink and found the formula always perfect.  Dry time was good also.

So basically i think Pam has knocked out another beauty in this polish and i highly recommend you get it if you love pinks...i own many and don't have a dupe! oh i forgot to mention on my ring finger i 'jazzed' it up with opi i lily love you. You can find these on Llarowe or here

striped and animal print combo!

Hello my lovely polish friends, my offering today is some cute animal print and stripe combo nails i did.  I think the colour really suits the clients skin tone, its perfect.  This colour is by the mighty color club called mrs robinson.  Ive always loved a good purple but this is beautiful...it reminded how much i love it after using it today.  For the stripes and print i used fashion addict by color club again...ahhh you gotta love color club!

candy striped nails

So my beautiful daughter, that has very lovely nails to work on asked me to do something cute and girly for her so we came up with a simple candy stripe.  I needed something that was quick to do for her as she has a tendency to get a bit 'ants in your pantsy' on me.  I think this turned out pretty cool for her..what do you guys think?

I used for the ice cream sundae collection by models own, lemon meringue, pastel pink, beths blue, jade stone and opi im all ears for the red. For the stripes i used a basic white striper pen and for a top coat its trusty seche all the way girlies!

Girly bits ... razzle dazzle .....OMG!

Ohhh my god....!!! Pams Girly bits Razzle dazzle is next up for me to review for you, and what a polish this is!!  I cannot begin to tell you guys how much i adore this from the bottle and the cute little gem on the front to the name (which my beautiful sister and i have affectionately named wazzle dazzle!)...that's even before Ive actually tried this out.  When i did i was absolutely blown away, and i received many many compliments when i wore it.  My hands looked like sparkly jewels...i was unable to stop admiring it in the sunlight...inside light..hell even in the dark!!...i know...i know I'm rambling like a mad woman, lets see the pics then you will understand why..oh btw did i tell you i love this polish!!

So this polish has a magenta base and is packed solid with magenta glitter, blue glitter and red glitter.  The formula was perfect as always and was opaque in only 2 coats.  I had no issues with balding patches here, and its pretty self levelling to.  As with most glitters it dries a little matte but with a coat of trusty seche vite this really injected life into the polish.  If you are umming and ahhhhing  jump straight on the computer and BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!! you can find it here big cartel or at Llarowe

pahlish typewriter keys

Hello my fellow bloggers.  Well deep breath this is the amazing  Pahlish Typewriter keys for you.  Now i'll be honest, this is not something i usually wear but after hearing so many great things about pahlish polishes i wanted a bit of the action so i bought a few when the lovely leah ann Llarowe started stocking them...boy I'm sooooo glad i did stumble on this gem...wow!!  Its a polish defiantly used for layering and i did so with Misa grey matters...perfect combination in my eyes.  It is made up in a clear base with tiny fine holographic glitter that shines ultra sparkly in the sun...i honestly couldn't keep my eyes from my nails when i wore this especially as here in the UK we have had some super lovely weather for a change!  The contrast of the black and white shards of glitter makes this one interesting polish!

It applied lovely..much nicer than i thought it would..dried nice and quickly...I'm a happy bunny now i have discovered Pahlish...in fact i have just relised she has own her etsy shop and have just bought glittoris (such a funny name!! and sullen girl)

London olympic nails...go team GB!

So I'm not pretending to be into the Olympics in anyway shape or form really...except for the closing ceremony which i thought was great, and even though i wasn't really into the whole thing i did feel extremely proud of all the athletes and proud we hosted such a great event in London!  Was so great to see the spice girls whizzing about on taxis and the mighty take that were amazing, not to mention all the wonder GB team showing their medals off.

The nail art worn by some of the woman during the event was fantastic to see, it made me want to jump in on this and do my own design (ish).  I mist admit the rings were an absolute pain to do and i felt like chopping my own hand off in order to do it better...but hand in tact i persevered and got it somewhat like i wanted it.

I hope you guys like my little contribution, all be it a bit late so my apologies guys xxx
